Business & Headshot Guides

Business & Headshot Guides

28 headshot guides London businesses read before booking answer what a headshot actually costs, how many people fit into an hour, and when a personal branding shoot is worth the extra spend. Written from real office and studio sessions across the City and Shoreditch, each one settles a single question honestly, including when the cheaper option is the right call.

What’s in this category

Twenty-eight guides sit within all photography and videography guides, built around the questions people ask before booking a headshot or a team shoot: how much a London headshot actually costs, what a decent LinkedIn photo needs that a phone selfie doesn’t, how many people you can realistically get through in one session, and where personal branding stops being useful and starts being expensive for no reason.

A fair few of these come from City and Shoreditch office shoots where the real problem wasn’t the photography, it was getting eight people out of back-to-back meetings for ten minutes each.

Start here

Start with headshot cost London if price is what you need first, since it covers day rates from one person up to a full office. the LinkedIn photo guide explains why most profile photos undersell people, and neither guide pushes you to buy more than you need. Both sit above headshot photography from £150, and current 2026 prices lists rates for corporate and branding work too.

Tell me the team size and building on the contact page and I’ll send a slot and a day rate within one working day. Tuesday and Wednesday mornings are usually easiest to book in the City.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a headshot cost in London?

Headshot photography starts at £150 per person, with corporate day rates for larger teams working out cheaper per head once you're past four or five people. Branding photography, which goes beyond a single headshot, starts at £600. I'll confirm the exact figure once I know your team size and location.

How many headshots can be shot in an hour?

A well-run session moves through roughly six to eight people an hour once everyone's briefed on timing beforehand, though first-timers and senior staff who want more input tend to slow that down. Building in a buffer for a busy office is more useful than aiming for a strict number.

Do I need a personal branding shoot or is a headshot enough?

A decent headshot covers LinkedIn, email signatures and most bios on its own, and I wouldn't recommend paying for more until that's sorted. A branding shoot earns its £600 when you need lifestyle images for a website or social feed. Skip it if a single good headshot answers the actual need.

Can headshots be done in our own office?

Yes, most corporate headshot sessions happen on-site with a portable lighting setup, which saves the team travel time. It works in most meeting rooms and open-plan spaces with a plain-ish wall; a lift big enough for kit helps in older City buildings. I'll flag if a space genuinely won't work before the day.
